In a unique cultural heritage building in the Old Town of Vilnius, we have built an extremely luxurious, nonstandard 5-star hotel “Pacai”, which belongs to the exclusive hotel chain “Design Hotels”.

The “Pacai Hotel”, with a total area of 6.2 sq. m., retains a Baroque courtyard and has 104 unique rooms and suites. Also, the hotel has four modern meeting rooms for 5 to 60 people and is home to the “14 HORSES” brasserie, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner to city residents and its guests. The hotel has a modern and cozy bar “SOFIJA”, offering classic and modern cocktails, local beers and drinks from traditional Baltic breweries, as well as champagne and wine from all around the world. The “Pacai SPA” invites you to relax in an exclusive setting – the Gothic cellars of the hotel, where some of the fragments of the historic walls and stairs are preserved. The hotel also has a hammam, sauna, gym.

The project is characterized by its unique architectural concept that combines historical authenticity with modern luxury. “Pacai Palace” is a part of the cultural heritage in Lithuania, thus 298 sq. m. of unique 16th-20th century wall paintings, the old pavement, stone walls and the palace facade were preserved.

While implementing the project, we were faced with various challenges: the building is located in the UNESCO-protected Old Town of Vilnius, so it was limited in scope and all of the details had to be coordinated with the Department of Cultural Heritage. It was also necessary to preserve the valuable properties of the building and restore the authentic details by carefully choosing the materiality of the tools used.
