The designers paid special attention to offices whose interior is distinguished by quality and modernity and meets the needs of future employees. Offices are equipped with comfortable meeting rooms, which can host teleconferences, and a training space. The workstations were arranged so that they could see the greenery surrounding the plant. There will be plenty of natural light inside the factory itself, thanks to the natural light calculation program, and with the 3D model of the building, over 80% of the office space has natural light. It helps maintain a person’s natural rhythm, makes him / her feel better and at the same time reduces electricity costs. Staff will be able to dine in the company restaurant. The interior design of the factory was created by Justina Narauskienė, the architect of “stART studio”, and the representative, lounge and office spaces were provided by LT Project, which specializes in the installation of business spaces.

In some spaces, the walls are covered with Smart Wall Paint, which allows the walls to be used as a writing board and a marker. The first floor of the factory is characterized by an abundance of tiles used to decorate both walls and floors. The lobby features an impressive screen with a height of 4 meters and a width of 5 meters. On the first floor of the office are glass daylight partitions.

I am pleased to confirm that we are keeping to the planned schedule for this project and that Lithuania is meeting all our expectations. We have been able to prepare the building for production in 15 months and at the same time have formed a strong team of almost 200 professionals. It’s actually impressive.

PAINTS FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL, HUMAN HEALTH

The interior of the factory is painted with water-based paints, which, like all factory premises, are subject to high quality requirements. The most important criterion for building owners when choosing finishes was that they had to meet internationally recognized LEED Gold requirements. Selected paints are of high quality, produced in a sustainable way, from carefully selected raw materials, creating a healthy environment for people and meeting public space requirements. They are environmentally friendly by emitting less volatile organic compounds. However, due to its reduced environmental impact, other important properties of the paint are not compromised: they are extremely resistant to both dry and wet cleaning as well as to mechanical effects.

Baltic Engineers has also designed roofs for bicycles, mopeds and electric vehicles. Anticipated
parking areas not only for employees and factory guests, but also for wheelchair service providers.
All of this is fitted to the strict LEED requirements. Employees will also be able to commute to work and public transport – a specially designed bus stop near the site. It is planned that the staff
will receive reimbursement for transport tickets, and the bus schedule will be coordinated with shift times.
